Pidapipó takes gelato seriously. Really seriously. Founder Lisa Valmorbida actually went to Italy to attend ice-cream university (which is a real thing) before returning and starting her own gelateria, named after an Italian children’s game.

All Pidapipó gelato is made onsite from scratch on imported Italian equipment, in small batches, only ever using the highest quality fresh fruit, milk, nuts and chocolate by local producers (like we said, they take it seriously).

Pidapipó came to us needing killer content for their seriously #FoodPorn 'Gram. We needed to highlight the fresh and seasonal produce that goes into each ice-cream, as well as the artisanal craftsmanship and labour - this ain't no factory operation.

Little did we know, the images would receive such great feedback, with many publications and the City of Melbourne requesting usage. The production spanned over 3 days. We started at their flagship Carlton gelateria and finished in their second Windsor location. We shot a mix of images, focusing on the ingredients, production and interior.
